Today I met Rosa and her children. She lost her husband in the floods. She’s now in a new little mud-brick house (pictured with her children) and has been able to leave behind the make-shift shelter she was in thanks to the generosity of Regions Beyond churches. She showed me the roof in the old place and told me she praises God that her children now have a dry place to sleep. She’s farming again and providing for her family and says she has hope again. We prayed together and the presence of God was powerfully with us. A very humbling, emotional day.
